The partnership will bring new perspectives to Housing LIN's knowledge hub, enabling members to take advantage of Appello's knowledge and experience working with leading housing providers. Appello's recent work on the Housing our Ageing Population: Positive Ideas (HAPPI3) report and its close links with the largest housing associations provides Housing LIN members with access to insights into the positive impact technology can have on residents, employees, communities and infrastructure.
"As our membership continues to grow, the knowledge sharing between members becomes even more valuable so we're pleased to welcome Appello and its technology perspectives to our community," commented Jeremy Porteus, Director of the Housing LIN. "The housing and health and social care industry continues to move forward and take advantage of digital possibilities, so the insights from members, and Appello, will prove invaluable to those involved in planning, commissioning, designing, funding, building, and managing housing with care for older people."
Andy Davey, Managing Director at Appello comments: "The Housing LIN has grown to be an essential online hub for housing, health, and social care professionals in England. We're excited to be part of this forward-thinking knowledge hub and look forward to working with Housing LIN and its members in sharing best practices and industry knowledge and collaborating on new and exciting projects to help improve the lives of older people."
As part of the work with Housing LIN, Appello will shortly be developing a joint digital telecare barometer survey to fully understand the challenges and opportunities faced by the industry in moving towards digital care services within housing.
Appello has over 27 years of experience providing technology enabled care and life safety services that help housing, health and social care organisations improve the outcomes of services they provide to their residents and citizens.
